Since this is a ChimeraX question I'm putting it on chimerax-users@cgl.ucsf.edu -- otherwise the Chimera users will be confused! In the future you may want to use that address for ChimeraX questions.<br>

If I remember correctly, "vseries" re-renders the surfaces at the time of playback, unless you specify storing more of them with the "cacheFrames" option -- so try using "vseries" with "cacheFrames 20":<br>
