[Chimera-users] selection

Another thing that may help is to change Chimera's selection  
highlight to "fill" instead of "outline".  To do that, bring up the  
Preferences dialog (Favorites->Preferences) and change "Category:" to  
"Background", then change "Selection highlight method:" to "fill".   
Try selecting things and see if its any better.  If so, click "Save"  
in the Preferences dialog so that Chimera keeps using the fill method  
thenceforward.

Even if this works you should still try to update your graphics  
driver though.
