Now we need to do what the dialog says and run chimera with the
--debug option.
On Windows, you need to edit the chimera shortcut on your desktop by doing
a right-mouse click on the chimera shortcut and selecting the Properties
menu item. Then in the Properties dialog, select the Shortcut tab and
edit the Target string by appending " --debug" (without the quotes).
Vista will warn you about the change, but it needs to be done.
Next, when you start up chimera, a separate text (console) window appears
with debugging information. When chimera dies, copy the debugging text
and email it to me. It's a little tricky to copy the text, you need to
right mouse click on the title bar which brings up a menu. In that menu,
navigate the Edit submenu and select "Select All" and then bring up the
menu again and select Copy from the Edit submenu. Now you can paste the
text into your email program and send it me.
