ATI releases an updated graphics driver every month or two.  The latest 
version is 8.612 which comes with Catalyst 9.5.  Since each update fixes 
bugs and sometimes improves performance as well, I'd recommend updating to 
see if your problems with off-screen rendering (pbuffers) are fixed or 
not.
