[Chimera-users] OpenGL misconfiguration & Nvidia

I don't have any experience with openSUSE, but the "Error: API
mismatch: the NVIDIA ..." message is not coming from chimera. Googling
for answers suggests that rebooting might fix that error.

From the chimera perspective, the OpenGL misconfiguration message
appears when there are two different OpenGL libraries installed on your
system, usually a slow software OpenGL and a fast one that uses the
graphics hardware. The fact that there are two means there was either a
problem installing the NVIDIA/ATI driver or that a system update brought
back an additional library.

On other Linux systems, when chimera detecting this problem, it was
fixed by reinstalling the driver (and rebooting afterwards).

     Good luck,

     Greg
