[Chimera-users] Image size reduction

Often publication figures have views that are precisely related to one another, for example by zooming in (as you described) or rotating 90 degrees.
In addition to saving positions as Greg suggests, you can use translation, scaling, and rotation commands so that the relationship between the positions is exact.
For example, you might get the zoomed-out view by hand, then after saving the position, use
scale 4.5
move x 2
move y -1
to get a zoomed-in (closeup) view, or
turn y -90 center ligand
to rotate 90 degrees around the axis vertical in the plane of the screen, using the ligand to define the center of rotation.
