Hi Nikolay,

This post from the Chimera mailing list describes how to find the atoms
that touch the molecular surface.

The surface doesn't have charge associated with it. I guess you mean
the electrostatic potential at a point on the surface. Here's a Chimera
mailing list message about how to do that.

The Chimera documentation web page

     http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docindex.html

has an entry for searching the mailing list which allowed me to find
these two messages by searching for atoms at surface and potential at
surface point.
