Hi Richard,
Here's three ways to get more info:
1) Use that menu to select the residue, then Actions->Focus to zoom in on it (if there are multiple copies, you may have to manually zoom), then hover the mouse over the residue. The status line will show the full name of the compound.
2) Go to the Model Panel and choose the model in the list. Click the "Attributes..." button in the button list. At the bottom of the resulting dialog is a "PDB Headers" button. Click that to see the header records of the PDB file. The HETNAM and FORMUL records will have more info about the compound. Other records that may have info: TITLE, JRNL, and REMARK.
3) Go to the PDB website (www.rcsb.org) and in the Search bar click 'Ligand' and type the three-letter name of the compound. A list should appear with the name under "Ligand ID" -- click that link to go to a page with a bunch of info about the compound.
