[Chimera-users] Export Scene, Mesh Surface, wrl

Hi Cynthia,
VRML export has limitations including lack of normals on dot and mesh surfaces… so even if they are shown they may be lighted strangely.

If you export the solid surface instead, maybe in Cinema4D you can convert those triangles into mesh.  I don’t use that type of software, I’m just making a guess.

There is a “meshmol” command to convert wire mesh into stick mesh in Chimera, but I imagine all those sticks would yield a far too huge and unwieldy export file.
