[Chimera-users] volume viewer ranges

Hi Tamas,

  Chimera Volume Viewer is reporting the range of data values.  Probably it is showing you a subsampled version of the data (e.g. “step 2”) and then it only shows the min and max of the subsampled values.  Change step (above the histogram) to 1 to load the full resolution data.  Chimera automatically chooses the step to open the data fast.  This is a setting in Volume Viewer menu Features / Data Display Options called “Adjust step to show at most N voxels”.
