[Chimera-users] Modification of paths

The Chimera installation does not alter the PATH variable. Moreover, if 
the Chimera bin directory is on your PATH, it should be removed -- there 
are executables in the Chimera bin directory that might interfere with 
ones installed on your system (in particular, the python executable).


A correct installation, as is optionally done by the Chimera installer, 
is to put a symbolic link to the chimera executable, called chimera, in 
a directory on your existing PATH.  If that has been done, you can see 
where the symbolic link is by running the command: "which chimera".
