[Chimera-users] Opening .py files

Hi Henry,
	The .py extension is for files containing Python code.  The fact that the first line of your file is "@<TRIPOS>MOLECULE" indicates that it is a Sybyl Mol2 file and therefore should have a .mol2 extension.  Try renaming the file to have a .mol2 extension and then try opening it.
