Not sure if I understand completely, but maybe what you want is Tile Structures (or command "tile"). The tool is in the menu under Tools... Structure Comparison:

To be safe, you probably want to save the position (savepos command) before tiling, so that it is easy to go back and try again (restore saved position with reset command) if the first set of tiling parameters doesn't give what you want.
