Hi Boris,
You just have the wrong syntax; the command should be something like:

save ATPtest.obj
- Or - 
save ATPtest format obj

…if your current working directory (use command “pwd” to report) is writable by you.  The filename can also include location, e.g. something like

save ~/Desktop/ATPtest.obj

In the help “usage” line the bold keywords are literals, the italics are user-specified items, square brackets means optional.
