[chimerax-users] Segment map feature only available to Mac users ?

Hi ChimeraX users developers and maintainers,

I've been able to experiment with  the segment map<https://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/tools/segment.html> feature provided by Segger package on the Mac daily-build, on a colleague's Mac.

However I downloaded the Linux daily build on my Linux machine and it appears that this function is not present in the menu. Is it a bug or is the "segment map" feature only available to Mac ?

If this is the case, would someone be able to give some guidance on how to port the feature to Linux ? I'm quite experienced in C, C++, Java and Python coding, having the coding skills shouldn't be an issue in order to do it.
