Hi Giorgio,
At least one of our experts on this topic is away this week, so there might be a delay in a more definitive description of our plans.

In the meanwhile, as I understand it GLTF is one of the main scene-export formats from ChimeraX.
<https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/save.html#gltf>

I see a bunch of converters online, some free, for gltf -> dae (collada) and gltf -> usd (universal screen description) e.g.
<https://modelconverter.com/>
<https://github.com/kcoley/gltf2usd>

(No idea what abc format is.)

However, this is by no means an endorsement of those converters. I have never tried any nor have any idea how well they work. You could probably find several others by searching.

Or, maybe Blender can take GLTF (.glb) format as input directly.
Best,
Elaine

The old chimera had the option to export models (surfaces, ball and stickers etc) in DAE format which is the most "trustful" for importing the model in 3D software (blender for me now). Will it be possible to "revamp" it or include format as .abc ? (I don't know if .usd can be an idea also since I think its specifications are open). Thanks
