[chimerax-users] 3d-SNFG representation of glycans

Dear Julia,
ChimeraX does not have 3D-SNFG glycan representations currently, although it is something we would like to have in the future.

You can turn filled rings on/off with commands:

style ringFill thin
style ring off

Or to limit the scope to residues that are not protein or nucleic acid, something like

style ~ (protein | nucleic) ring thick

Show the help with command "help style" or see the copy at our website here:
<https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/style.html>

For Chimera only (not ChimeraX), there is a 3D-SNFG plugin from the InsiliChem group in Barcelona:
<https://github.com/insilichem/tangram_snfg>

I hope this helps,
Elaine
