I don't have a specific answer for you, but I CC'd chimerax-users at cgl.ucsf.edu on this message so you don't need to do anything else this time. 

I only have the following general information:  the download pages say which operating systems are supported for running the programs.  The ChimeraX download page also recommends using a computer <4 years old.
