Hi Amith,
You are supposed to first open the file, and then (separate step) start ViewDock with either the Tools menu or viewdockx command.

If you already tried that, maybe your maestro file is just different than the examples we had before when implementing this capability.
How to fix it is unclear without an example file from you. If you don't mind sharing to public database, use menu: Help... Report a Bug and attach the file, and give a brief explanation and include your e-mail address in the bug report. If the file needs to remain private, you could send it to me or one of the other developers individually. The person who implemented this functionality has since retired, but we could still try to see what the issue is.
