[chimerax-users] Chimera X Runs But does Not Install

Hi Anthony,
When you double-click the downloaded dmg file, eventually an installer will appear and in it, there is the ChimeraX app represented by an icon. But then you need to drag the icon somewhere onto your system, e.g drag onto your Desktop, and/or use Finder to show the Applications folder and then drag the icon into there (or whichever folder that you want to contain the ChimeraX app). It will take a while to copy it onto your system.
If you just doubleclick the icon shown in the installer, it will run, but will not copy it onto your system. I'm guessing that is what was happening.
I hope this helps,
Elaine
