[chimerax-users] no text in log gui after ubuntu 22.04 upgrade

Yes, just wait for now.  There will be a new version of ISOLDE for 1.4 
"soon" after the release is finalized. We expect to finalize 1.4 this 
week or next unless a major bug is discovered. Dr. Croll will weigh in 
on how long it will take for a newer ISOLDE to come out after that.

If you're desperate, you could run ChimeraX 1.3 in a Ubuntu 20.04 
virtual machine.
