Hi eric

thank you so much for your answer.

I think it is important because for those guys playing with CHARMM/NAMD/XPLOR pdb file that shifting from PyMol (Where segid specification exists in the sele command) to ChimeraX (my case), it will really be a nice option. Also because chainid does not exists in these pdb format.

Thank you again.

Best regards.

Philippe

Hi Philippe,
No, this is not currently possible in ChimeraX. I will open an enhancement-request ticket in our bug-tracking database for it, with you cc'ed so that you will know when progress occurs. It may take awhile to get to given our other development priorities.

Dear all,

Is there a way in ChimeraX to make a selection by segid (column 73-76 in pdb format from CHARMM of XPLOR)?
Thanks in advance.
Philippe Cuniasse.
