[chimerax-users] Saving obj files

I see you are saving a ribbon.  This works for me in the current ChimeraX 1.4 or daily build.  For example,

open 1a0m
save test.obj
open test.obj

Loading the OBJ shows it as the same ribbon that I saved.  I guess this is a problem with the software you are using to read the OBJ file.  If saving the OBJ ribbon and loading it in ChimeraX does not give the correct shape then you can use ChimeraX menu Help / Report a Bug....  We don't debug other software's OBJ readers though.

If the OBJ looks ok in ChimeraX then the problem is with whatever software you are using to open the OBJ.  You should also say what software you are using.
