[chimerax-users] view saves/move commands

Hi Krishnan,
You have to use "view name" to save each view that you want, and then after that, save a session file. Then later you open (restore) the session from file, and it will have your saved views remembered in it.

It can be very difficult to figure out "move" commands to get to the exact positions/orientations that you want -- really, saving/restoring the positions with the "view" command is much, much easier. I have done it with several "move" and "turn" commands, but it is an iterative process of playing the commands over and over and then adding/modifying commands as needed to attain the position that you want.

I hope this helps,
