[chimerax-users] Changing MD trajectory default frame rate

Hi Vis,
You should use the "coordset" command to play back the trajectory (not the GUI play button) and put it into a command script file along with the "movie" commands. You can also include other commands in your script if you want other things to happen in the movie.

See "movie" and "coordset" commands:
<https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/movie.html>
<https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/coordset.html>

See the "making movies" page:
<https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/movies.html>

See the ChimeraX morphing highlight, which includes the command script used to record the morph trajectory (same approach would be used to record an MD trajectory):
<https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/features.html#morphing>

More about command scripts (.cxc. files):
<https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/usageconventions.html#cxc-files>

I hope this helps,
Elaine
