[chimerax-users] Coot view in ChimeraX

Hello,

What do you mean by "a coot view of map"? If you want to display the map as a blue mesh (the default style in Coot) instead of a grey surface (the default style in ChimeraX), you can use the volume viewer to adjust the display options of your map. There is a color picker, and a dropdown menu to choose a display style.

You can get the same result with the following commands:

volume #1 style mesh
volume #1 color blue

assuming model #1 is your map, adjust accordingly.

If this shade of blue is not exactly the same one as in Coot, you might find a closer one here: https://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/colornames.html#builtin
