[chimerax-users] Ring fill color

Hi Luca,
Sorry no, there is just one ring fill color per residue.  Although you can color different residues' ring fill in different colors from each other (and from their atoms), within a single residue you cannot color the base fill a different color from the ribose fill.

At first I thought maybe you could open the structure twice and only show ring fill for bases in one copy and for riboses in the other copy, but this is also not possible because there is also only one ring fill setting (on or off) per residue. 

I can tell this from looking at the Selection Inspector for residues:
