Hi Desiree,
You could use something like

wait 10; turn x -1 45

or you could use rock with x axis, or you could save positions before and after the tilt (with command savepos, say naming them p1 and p2) and then use the fly command to smoothly traverse from p1 to p2 and back to p1.  It depends what you mean by "smoothly"  8-)
